My credits on the full length documentary are: “Additional Editor”and “Post Production Supervisor”. I organized almost 100 interviews (shot on RED) for this film. I managed documents to track themes, character descriptions, and footage. Scott Colthorp, the filmmaker, ambitiously wanted to get every perspective on: the coal ash retention pond spill; the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA); electricity: past, present, and future impact on the area; and the community affected by the spill. Because of this thorough coverage we had a lot of footage to get through. We created “inspiration cuts” of each main character with the best footage and soundbites. Those were used to help develop the story. The film premiered at the Nashville Film Festival. The above short is a “sneak peak” of the film. The documentary is not currently streaming.
